Amorepacific’s skincare innovations were a highlight at recent New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) events. Amorepacific’s executives presented research at an NYSCC meeting and at NYSCC Suppliers’ Day 2026.

“Amorepacific aims to advance the next generation of K-beauty through innovations that support long-term skin health and well-being,” said Jinseob Shin, VP of the Americas R&I Center at Amorepacific. “As we expand in North America, we remain focused on translating our global research capabilities into meaningful skincare solutions for local consumers, dermatology professionals, and industry partners.”

Shin presented clinical research at the NYSCC Scientific Committee meeting on June 18th. (Shin is also an NYSCC Board member.)

During the session, “Split-Face Micro Needling Study of a Barrier-Strengthening Formula,” Shin spoke about the potential of Aestura’s barrier-strengthening technology. Aestura supports skin recovery after a micro-needling procedure. Shin highlighted the product’s visible benefits on the skin, including hydration, barrier recovery, redness, and skin texture.

Speaking at NYSCC Suppliers’ Day in May, Amorepacific’s Michelle Shieh presented another one of Amorepacific’s skincare innovations.

Shieh, Derma Science Director at Amorepacific, discussed “Ingredient Reality Check: PDRN, Spicules, Exosomes & Beyond.” The session highlighted practical applications of these emerging ingredients. A key study showed that a product formulated with PDRN nano-liposomes is eight times better at enhancing delivery to the skin and improving absorption than a product formulated with conventional liposomes.

Amorepacific says these presentations reflect the company’s broader research strategy. The company aims to continuously explore the future of beauty through advanced ingredients, formulation technologies, and clinically informed skincare solutions.
